And I love Mr. Robert to death. He’s been a hero of mine for quite some time and make no mistake, he trains incredibly precisely for each one of his projects even if it is the same repetitive move.
And he’s been credited with pre-soloing incredibly difficult routes in the 13 C range. This is just playing on a never ending jungle gym for him and he does it for the fame and the continued monetary support from sponsors. But this shouldn’t impress anyone.

OK give me a break. It’s the same four moves over and over. If you people really wanna have any idea of what it is to be a free soloist, go see the movie free Solo with Alex Honnold. Now that’s a free Solo!
And you should know that any and all of us that are out there climbing with no ropes do so with the same intentionality and same risk assessment factor that you do every day driving the car. We train, and were climbing something well below our limits.
It astounds me how the rest of the world thinks oh man you must have a death wish or defined it as reckless. What a load of garbage.

This generation and their being famous syndrome with cameras will cost them to die with the most unlikely fashion. The worst is a grown man gonna be arrested, all for just his own safety. Disgusting.
