The 2019 Volkswagen Arteon Is Strange and Gorgeous

snmthecloser Douglas, you make the same comment about the vent on a
lot of cars and say that they are dummy vents. They are not. They are in fact known as diffusion vents that don’t allow anything except a soft blow of air when you turn it on the sync setting and place it in auto. It is sort of like the ion breeze blower that sharper image used to sell.

It is a filtered air blower that is supposed to provide for a more purified air conditioning system. They are functional on Audis, Volkswagens, and many other vehicles...even though you insist on continuing to say they are simply dummy vents. Taking some extra time for a brief pre-check of the vehicle before recording your videos would get you more up to speed on some of the features of vehicles which you don’t grasp the function of. Other than that as per usual your videos are fun and enjoyable.

Karls Geoguessr Abenteuer Fun Fact: VW builds a lot of different SUVs in Europe. We have the Atlas/, Touareg, Tiguan (+ Tiguan Allspace), T-Roc and the T-Cross. And all those cars have some SEAT, Skoda and Audi siblings (also Porsche, a Lambo and a Bentley). They just choose to not sell them in the US... :(

VJ Abonador I definitely wouldn't have said this 10 years ago, but I'd take a Kia over a Volkswagen today. No joke. The Stinger wins the 4-door coupe hatchback at this price segment for me. You should've added the Stinger in the comparison at the end.

The Cometos To be fair, the car is missing the rear sunshade that would use one of those missing slots. But mainly it's because people who buy the Passat (which is what the Arteon is based on) in Europe often attach extra lights on it, so VW gave them/us extra slots to put switches.
