Orcas trying to reach the human! 😍❤️

Lizanne Baxter That's a baby, they are playful this time of year, they are
born in the Sea of Cortez and stay around the Cabo San Lucas, Baja California area until the water gets warm and the babies can swim well enough to make it to Alaska. They spend summers in North Pacific.

Peter Brown Orcas in the wild do not prey on human beings but are more likely to interact with us like dolphins do. Nonetheless they are very big and powerful creatures and injuries can easily be caused even by açcident. In short, observing from a safe position is always the best option.

Karen JulesLouis Ladson Orcas are VERY intelligent mammals. They were curious. They would not have harmed the man. If that was me I would have gone in closer to the orca. ❤

Marie Wilcox Orcas are not known for harming people, but always better safe than sorry. However, you are endangering the Orca, I am aware they do this when they hunt seals, but there is a danger of beaching themselves. Leave them alone please, they are not play things, they deserve respect.
